SJF has established Research & Study Division in 2012 for conducting research & study on the issues related to our activities, such as Economic Development, Poverty Reduction, Education, Reproductive, Maternal and Child health, Population control, Environment, Human Rights and Social Development. Research programs are conducted through impact assessment studies on the basis of the Pilot schemes within territories of our research objectives and data are collected from the concerned government agencies and our own sources. Research reports are prepared with identification of the existing problems in the research area and their probable suggestions in context of practical existence thereof for solving the problems, which are published in our regular newsletters, journals and other publication in the country and abroad.

Our Research & Study plays an important role in designing our development interventions and helpful for the government and International Agencies to have elaborate ideas on several issues related to economic and social development of Bangladesh and making development plan on suspected areas, as our research report are published highlighting the existing problems with probable solutions thereof on the research areas.

All Research programs of Shahjahan Foundation are designed with emphasis of those sectors, which are directly related to economic and social development of the country, such as poverty reduction, education, health & population, environment, human rights and social developments. Objectives of our research activities are to evaluate the present circumstances in all priority sectors related to social and economic development , education, health and other potentials of life and finding out alternatives for sustainable developments in those areas.

Methodology and Implications : 

We imply methodology for making research findings effective and professional to the various users, such as government, International Agencies and other Authorities through highlighting present circumstances of the research area with reliable & elaborate information and explanations with prescription thereof. So that, research finding become helpful for better performance of our developments efforts, and at the same time government and other concerned authorities can be benefited using SJF Research Report for planning and implementing of evidence based development activities.
